BREAKING🔥 Alvin Bragg Vs Trump! Hush Money Trial🚨Bragg Threatens Trump: Contempt Charges & Jail Time
Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “BREAKING🔥 Alvin Bragg Vs Trump! Hush Money Trial🚨Bragg Threatens Trump: Contempt Charges & Jail Time”, Manhattan district attorney, aam brag wants to hold the former president in contemp of Court. He has f a motion that actually could seek the president going behind bars if he continues and not cut it out. Instead of fighting crime, Manhattan da Alvin, Bragg launches a trump show trial, I’ve long said that, no matter what happens legally, I think Donald Trump’s going to win politically. We knew the threat was there and now it’s being carried out Manhattan district attorney, Alvin Bragg has now f filed a motion to hold former president Trump in contempt of court trial involving former president Donald Trump is underway up in New York City. He is charged with 34 felony counts of falsifying business. Records Bragg is urging Manhattan judge Maran to also warn Trump that future violations of the gag order can be punished not only with additional fines, but also with the term of incarceration of up to 30 days. Uh Bragg’s motion to uh the court asking that the president pres be held in contempt centers on three social media posts that the former president made recently the prosecutor says they are violations of Judge, Juan maran’s gag orders.

Bragg’S office is demanding that Trump be fined $ 11,000 for each of those posings, where he attacked Stormy, Daniels and Michael Cohen on true social last week. In one of them, he called them quote two SLE bags who have with their lies and misrepresentations cost. Our country dearly in its motion prosecutor, say quote: this court should warn defendant that future violations of the Court’s restrictions on his extrajudicial statements can be punished not only with additional fines, but also with a term of incarceration of up to 30 days. We have a trumping judge, we have a judge who shouldn’t be on this case.

He’S totally conflicted, but this is a trial that should never happened since indicting Trump last March, Manhattan da Alvin Bragg has collected 850 ,000 in campaign donations for New York. Congressman Lee zeldon is out with a New York Post oped this morning writes this. Instead of fighting crime, Manhattan da Alvin, Bragg launches a trump show trial joining me now for our political panel Republican political analyst and campaign strategist, Ford, oconnell and Democrat consultant and former house Judiciary Committee Chief counsel, Julian Epstein great, to see you, gentlemen, thank you. So much for being here Ford, I want to kick things off with you.

Your reaction, well should come as a surprise to nobody. The Biden, brag Manhattan case is a legal absurdity and a scam. The case should have never been brought in the first place. The case is political: it’s election interference, an abuse of the law just to get Trump for starters, Alvin brag. A state prosecutor should not be prosecuting federal election law because he’s got no authority to do so and then the legal gymnastics that you have to make to transform this from a misdemeanor to a felony that Hocus Pocus even a first year law student can see through Yeah Julian, how do you see it well good morning? Maria thank you for having me again. I think this is a completely abusive prosecution by a prosecutor who campaigned and raised money on going after Trump. There is virtually no precedent for the use of the law. Uh. The way Alvin Bragg is attempting to use in this case, which is using a business records misdemeanor and attaching it or bootstrapping it to a federal election campaign, violation, the the the alleged violation being the hush money, not being reporting um under the law you there is An intent requirement uh so follow me here for just a second two FC chairs Federal Election Commission chairs, who are is the agency that enforces election law have have said on separate occasions that hush money is not a campaign Finance violation. Therefore, it is, by definition, impossible for Trump to meet the intent standard.

If the federal enforcement officials are saying that hush money is not a campaign V violation, this is a completely abusive, uh use of the law uh by the political left uh. I I civil Libertarians for for decades have been arguing against selective application of the law. This is absolutely The Selective application of law. This case would not be brought if uh, if the last name of the defendant were anything other than Trump and democrats should be very aware here.

Uh. There are plenty of theories that, if Trump wins election in 2024, that could be used to go after Joe Biden on uh on on the classified records and could be used against Hunter Biden on tax evasion. And you know people will argue on the left that that would be selective enforcement of the law and a political prosecution, but I don’t think they will have any leg to stand on given what’s happening in this case uh. The left should be screaming about it, and it’s not, and – and everybody knows it right – I mean all we’re doing – is watching what is obviously playing out to be El interference, we’re 6 months away from an election, and you got two screens here.

Joe Biden is beginning his swing state campaigning he’s going to Pennsylvania today, he’s going to be railing about abortion and everything else on his campaign attacking Trump and Trump’s, going to be sitting in a courtroom, answering questions about something that the statute of limitations had run up. But somehow, as you said, for gymnastics or whatever allowed this prosecutor to turn it into a criminal situation, well, that’s exactly right: they want tie up Trump in a courtroom for 6 to8 weeks I mean even the judge. Meron should be recused, but unfortunately the judge has to recuse himself. For this I mean and Donald Trump can’t go to the Supreme Court in a in a week to actually hear the big case that he’ll talk about presidential immunity.

He can’t go to Baron Trump’s uh High School graduation. This again is all about harming Trump, and what they want to do is they want to drag Trump up in front, probably get a conviction, because we’re talking about Manhattan, where it’s 90 % Democrat also the Democrats can run ads in the fall. That say, Donald Trump is a convicted felon because they can’t beat Donald Trump on the issues so now they’re going to abuse the rule of law, which unfortunately undermines our constitutional republic. I’Ve long said that, no matter what happens legally, I think Donald Trump’s going to win politically in a moment I’ll be talking to someone who disagrees, because here again at news Nation we like to get all viewpoints, here’s how I see it a quiddle, big victory for Trump hung jury, also, huge win for Trump, somehow convicted of a demeanor won’t serve time.

Trump team will be able to argue at the felony case against him, which is political from the start, and even if it’s a felony conviction, it’s the lowest level felony in the state. So he could Escape any jail time and imagine if he sentenced to jail time. For this case, then, he can really play the victim with a stronger argument. You can see him comparing himself again to Nelson Mandela, but this time actually from a jail cell. So far as campaign has been using the case for fundraising and a major get out.

The vote effort, we heard the message as he was coming into court this morning morning. This is political persecution. This is a persecution like never before nobody’s ever seen, anything like it and while that messaging has seemed to resonate uh, thus far, politically here’s the other side.

A survey from ipsos from the first week of April shows that 13 % of those who say they would vote for Trump today said they would not vote for him in November if he were convicted by a jury of a felony before then. That number, including nearly a quarter of Republicans, sorry, that’s so confusing there, but I’m just not convinced they were thinking about this case, but many in the left, leaning media seem pretty certain of it. If there’s a conviction in this hush Bunny Case we’ve seen poll after poll show, there is a percentage of Independents out there who will say you know what a convicted felon somebody who’s been convicted in court. Like this, I can’t vote for that guy for people out there who say to me. You know this hush money thing, that’s good for Donald Trump. It makes him look like the victim.

No seeing him sit in a courtroom every day and seeing every day in the news and hearing is not helping him. I I I. I could never understand that logic, how somebody who is under indictment for a felony charge and is about to face trial. Somehow that’s good for them, so it’s not and the numbers show that I love Donnie, but I’m one of those people who talks like this but think about the the civil case brought in New York against him right.

The evidence overwhelming of some degree of Fraud and the judge ruled, among other things, that Trump spent years gross L overv valuating his assets to inflate his net worth. You would think that goes to the heart of Donald Trump’s brand, and yet even that ruling didn’t seem to have any impact on him politically. So how could this hush money case? Have that sort of impact .
